"Buttery Honey Creamy Classic" Cornbread



Creamy, Crispy and Tender to the touch

Gadgets and cooking needs:  Medium Mixing bowl and mixing spoon, Oven (deep baking pan or muffin pan of choice) don't forget the muffin wraps 
 
Ingredients: Baking time will vary by Serving sizes vary and are explained on the back of the box. 
This recipe will be for 6 Jumbo muffins also explained (18-22 min)
  • Krusteaz Honey Corn Bread Mix(follow directions for your preferred measurements
  • 2/3 cup Milk
  • not on the box -add 1/4 cup Nestle Creamer Original Flavor
  • 1/3 cup melted "I can't believe it's not butter"
  • 1 egg
  • not on the box- one tablespoon of natural Honey  
  • (optional) dash of Ground Cinnamon

Method: Heat the oven to 400 degrees
Stir all of the ingredients in a medium mixing bowl, continuously until everything is moistened.
Spoon the batter into a baking pan or scoop into muffin cups (baking pan) filling 2/3 full (the higher to the brim you fill it, the larger the caps) Bake it until it is a light golden brown.
Bake as directed on the chart in the back of the box according to your serving size, for this recipe of 6 jumbo it will be 22 minutes. Check the muffins by inserting a knife into the middle of one and if it comes out clean with no batter than it is done. Enjoy with your favorite meal and or spreads.


Cornbread has become a staple in my home; I make a batch every other sunday, and especially a cold weather time favorite. We make an entire loaf or a 1/2 dozen muffins and they only last about 2 days because it goes with practically every meal or as a meal. It's good for your digestive system and add 'I can't believe it's not butter" my favorite for reducing the cholesterol. We all love Preserves, peanut butter, Nutella, or any other of your favorite spreads, especially right after baking, because you will get that warm feeling in your stomach that reminds you where the term "comfort foods" came from. Now you and I have probably seen almost every corn bread recipe out there, but I bring you a simple, classic, and creamy flavor that I guarantee you won't find anywhere else and that will please even the pickiest eaters so that you can make time and time again. I have tried all types of corn bread mixes, and my favorite is KRUSTEAZ, Honey cornbread muffin mix; or any other flavor in this brand will do.
