Festive Cherry, Honey and Brown Sugar Roasted Ham

Time 60min including prep
Tools: Long Baking Pan, Large Knife, Whisker, Baster or Ladle, Cooking brush  or spreading knife, Meat cutting board
Ingredients:
  •  1 Pre-cooked Smoked Roasted Ham (I used one made by Giant Supermarkets already sliced so much easier) Serves 5-6 or more
  • 5 tablespoons "I can't believe it's not butter"
  • 1/3 Jar of Moschino Cherries with juices
  •  4 Tablespoons or more of Honey
  • 1 tablespoon of Nutmeg
  • McCormick's Apple and Sage Spices (Recipe Inspirations) comes with: Rubbed Sage, Minced Garlic, Thyme Leaves, Ground Allspice, and Paprika
  • 2 cups of Pork Stock
Method: Step One-
Marinate Ham overnight (or at least one hour) in the refrigerator with the seasonings shown above as instructed:

Cut the ham on meat cutting board into slices but not going through the enitre ham.
Place in the baking pan as shown below (to ensure easiness and the balance of flavor all over leaving the bone inside the baking pan)

-I like to start by spreading or brushing the honey
-Sprinkle the Spices all over and then spread or brush evenly even getting to the inside parts (assuming it's already sliced and cut) include the nutmeg
-Add 1/2 jar of moschino Cherry Juices (about 1 cup) all over ham

Heat Oven to 350 degrees
(If you are not marinating it )-Simply start seasoning it as if you where going to marinate it as instructed above

Step two:
While the oven is heating up include the butter, and some cherries into the baking pan as shown in the photo above
Gravy Mixture:  Add 1 small jar of Heinz Pork Gravy into a large mixing bowl, add 2 cups of Pork stock and whisk (set aside)

Step three:
Place Ham in the oven for 35 minutes, and then take it out to add gravy, spreading it around as evenly as possible. Place it back in the oven for another 15 minutes this time on broil high, for a nice toasty effect. Soon your ready to serve.

I am still surprised to find that lean Ham was on the metabolic foods list I found a few months ago. For more information on how this works check out my article "Fat Burning Foods 101" with a shopping list. In any case I just don't question it anymore since it has helped me loose weight with out any supplements or extraneous exercising. Here is a delicious mouthwatering Ham recipe you can make any time of the year but especially appropriate for the Holidays and a New Years Feast.
